Shiv shines for FUCC

Shiv Kumar’s five-wicket haul (5-25) was the high point in Friends Union Cricket Club (1) draw with  Bangalore Cricketers in the KSCA Group I Division I tournament for the Sir Mirza Ismail Shield.

Shiv’s effort helped FUCC (1) to bowl out Bangalore Cricketers for 82 in 37.5 overs, and FUCC replied with 219 for six to gain a 137-run innings lead and three vital points from the game. Kunal Kapoor (67), N Nirmith (63 n.o.) and M Nidish (51) were the main scorers for FUCC. V Koushik took five wickets (5-81) for Bangalore Cricketers but his effort wasn’t sufficient to make any real impact.
