BCCI approves five Indian tours

The BCCI emergency working also confirmed five Indian tours this years including that of West Indies in June-July.

The West Indian tour would be a tri-series, also involving Sri Lanka, and would take place shortly after the ongoing Champions Trophy.

India would also be touring Zimbabwe in July-August after the tri-series which ends on July 11.

The tour to Zimbabwe was put on hold by the BCCI. The Board then had cited fatigue as the primary reason for witholding the approval for the tour.

The working committee also confirmed that India A would tour South Africa in August. India Under-19s would be travelling to Australia in June-July, and then Sri Lanka in August.

Itinerary:

a. Indian team’s tour of the West Indies in June-July 2013.

b. Indian team’s tour of Zimbabwe in July-August 2013.

c. India A’s tour of South Africa in August 2013.

d. India under-19 team’s tour of Australia in June-July 2013.

e. India under-19 team’s tour of Sri Lanka in August, 2013.
