<p>A septuagenarian was crushed to death by an unregistered truck near Subbanna Palya on Wednesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The accident occurred when the unidentified driver sped his truck from Kodanda Rama temple, mowing 72-year old Dharmapalan down. <br /><br />The deceased was trying to enter the temple gate, police said.<br /><br />Visitors to the temple rushed the victim to a nearby private hospital but doctors declared him brought dead. <br /><br />His body was later shifted to Bowring Hospital for post-mortem.<br /><br />Banaswadi police have seized the truck and are trying to establish the driver’s identity.<br /></p>
