Bidding adieu to seniors

Farewell ceremony

The first-year MBA students of Don Bosco Institute of Technology organised a farewell ceremony for the second-year students at the college premises this week.

 The morning saw activities like music, dance and a fashion show. The juniors took pride in nominating seniors as ‘Cool Dude’, ‘Mr Nerd’, ‘Lazy Tortoise’, ‘Watch Dog’, ‘Ms Silent and ‘Big Father’. Games like arm-wrestling and sari-tying were organised for the seniors. On the occasion, a sumptuous lunch and snacks were also laid out for them.

They were given gifts too. About their future, Shilpa K, a distinction holder, said, “We now have to struggle hard in the corporate world.”  Kala, another student, agreed to this while Bala Chandra, a student who wants do CA, said “I have learnt a lot and am a matured individual now.”

 “After two years here, I can confidently face the corporate world. This is because of the friendly and supportive environment in our college,” said Suresh Kumar, a student. Principal T Sreenivasan and head of the department B Sowmya Satish spoke on the occasion.
