The international duo Wolfpack comprising Steven Braet and Ruben Khaza were on a roll when they performed at Shiro recently.

In quite a short span of time, Wolfpack has gained huge support from the world’s biggest DJs like David Guetta, Tiësto, Erick Morillo, Eddie Halliwell, Robbie Rivera and Markus Schulz to name a few.

Shiro was packed and people were seen grooving to the tunes of Wolfpack. Some of the tracks which were played by them were Rising Moon (their debut track), Ocarina (unreleased track), and remixed tracks by Timberland, Missy Elliot, etc.

Speaking about their journey, Ruben Khaza said, “We won a DJ contest at Tomorrowland 2011 and that’s when our journey began.” Having performed twice in India before, Steven Braet said, “We just love performing in India and it’s amazing that people here have a good taste for music. The EDM scene in India is growing, thus providing a platform for artistes like us to come here and perform and entertain the Indian audiences.”

“All our tours here in India are so incredible. The way the Indian crowd welcome us, is just amazing,” added Ruben after their gala performances. He also said “we will also try to make a Bollywood progressive mix as we love all kind of music.”

Rapidly becoming the epicentre of rising musical talent in Belgium, they have been described by Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike as ‘diamonds in the rough’ and one of the most promising talents around.

The trademark of Wolfpack to bring music to the crowd and the way they love to party as a pack has made them a popular name even in India.

So, we asked him what is the thing about being a DJ that he dislikes.

He answers saying, “We have to travel a lot and so miss the people we love. But, on the other hand, we get to meet all the nice people of the world, visit beautiful places, get to eat good food and of course attend the best parties!”
