Comedy night

Fusion feast

Pandit Debashish Bhattacharya will present an exploration of Indian fusion on June 29, 8.30 pm and an Indian classical presentation on June 30, from 11 am onwards. Debashish Bhattacharya is known for creating a trinity of slide guitars called Chaturangui, Gandharvi and Anandi. Bijapure Harmonium Foundation is presenting the 7th Harmonium Habba on June 30, from 9.30 am  at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

There will be a Carnatic harmonium solo recital by C Ramdass, Hindustani vocal recital by Bharati Vaishampayan and Hindustani harmonium solo recital by Vasant Kanakapur,
Dharwad among other performances.

Solo style

A solo exhibition of sculptures by Reghu G will be held till July 13, 10.30 am to 6 pm, at Gallery Sumukha.

Group work

A group show will be held till June 29 at Renaissance Gallerie. Paintings by Abhishek Shrivastava, Arpita Dasgupta, Avantika Mathur and Mohammad Samir will be on display.

Carnatic notes

Mixed forms

An art show called Ennea by Bhagya Ajaikumar will be on at Swasti Contemporary Gallery, HCG Towers, Sampangiramnagar till July 12.

 It showcases nine different art forms like drawing, painting, print-making, photography, collage, sculpture, video, writing and music.

Young performers

The Majolly Music Trust, in association with Theme and Kawai Pianos, will present the ‘Young Performer Concert Series’ with Srikanth Gnana­sekaran from Chennai (piano)and Bianca Mendonca from Mumbai(cello) accompanied by Neville Z Bharucha on June 30, 5.30 pm at Theme Piano World, Koramangala.
