<p>Two policemen were suspended on Friday over the gang rape in a moving car of two Delhi-based women early on Thursday, police said. <br /><br /></p>.<p>They have made two more arrests in the case and recovered the car used in the crime.<br /><br /> Balraj Singh, an assistant sub-inspector and in-charge of MG Road police post and head constable Dinesh Kumar were suspended for negligence of duty. <br /><br />Police said that when the victims informed the police control room about the incident, Kumar failed to convey the message to Singh as he did not know his cellphone number. <br />Two more persons have been arrested and a car impounded in the case.<br /><br />With the latest arrests, six men have now been held in the case.<br /><br />Five of the accused — Devender, Pramod, Haneesh, Satish alias Mota and Devender Kumar — were arrested at Nathupura village in Gurgaon. The sixth accused, identified as Dharambir, was held at Narnaul in Haryana’s Mahendragarh district.<br /><br />“The accused, all cab drivers, were produced before a local court on Friday which sent <br />them to judicial custody,” a police officer said. <br /><br />They are still looking for one more accused, the officer added.<br /><br />The Toyota Corolla car used in the commission of the crime has been seized from Dharambir’s possession. <br /><br />According to police, he was driving the car when the victims were kidnapped while returning home from a pub in Gurgaon.<br /><br />“Dharambir had locked the doors of the cab from inside to prevent the victims from escaping soon after the accused got into the car,” the police officer added.<br /><br />It is alleged that after one of the victims managed to escape, the accused made a phone call to their friends, who in turn, reached the spot in a Tata Indica car.<br /><br />On Thursday, the two Delhi-based women aged 25 and 27 had hired an autorickshaw from Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road when Dharambir offered to drop them home in south Delhi’s Tughlakabad for Rs 300. They got into the car outside Sahara Mall. <br /><br />They two were gang-raped in the car while going home from a pub in Gurgaon on Thursday on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road while four friends of the accused followed in another vehicle, police said.<br /><br />The men took turns to rape the women in the car for more than two hours. <br /><br />When the victims tried to spurn their advances, the accused beat them up and bit them all over their bodies.<br /><br />The women were dumped on Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, from where they contacted police.<br /></p>
