On Sunday, of the 24,266 who had registered, 19,738 candidates appeared for the test, according to KEA officials.

The attendance had gone down from the previous exam on June 16, as per the KEA statistics. During the first exam, there was an attendance of 87.39 per cent recorded while on Sunday, it dropped to 81.34 per cent. The exam was held between 9 am and 12 pm for 180 marks in all.
