The ‘Kidzee Summer Bash’, held at St Thomas Parish Hall, recently saw more than 700 children along with their parents from all across the City come over to meet their hero Chota Bheem.

Children were waiting with bated breath to see their favourite cartoon character in action.

Chota Bheem entered the stage after a theatrical rundown and the excitement of the kids knew no bounds when they saw him.

Some rushed to the stage the moment they saw him while many others could be seen asking their parents to take a picture with him. It was difficult to distract the children.
While some were lucky to shake hands and hug Chota Bheem, many children, who could not make it past the crowd to be with their hero, returned with tears in their eyes.

The tiny tots, however, enjoyed the day, which was filled with fun, games and laughter.

They also participated in various activities including fancy dress, collage-making etc. It was not just children, who were making the most of their time at the summer bash, even parents could be seen dirtying their hands in the laddoo-making activity. To the surprise of the children, the popular cartoon character gave away plenty of gifts to the participants .

Suresh, who was there with his son Sarvannsh, was glad that his son enjoyed his day out. “We all love the character and so do the kids. I could see how thrilled they were to meet him. The parents too were doing their best to get a picture of their children with their favourite hero. My son could not manage to meet him because of the crowd but he is glad that he at least got to see him in person. We had a great day and the children were involved in a number of activities. It was a break from the regular routine,” Suraj said.

Hitesh was there with his five-year-old and could be seen enjoying himself. “It was fun meeting this popular cartoon character and I am sure that the children were thrilled to see him. In fact, my son was ready to offer a box of laddoos to the cartoon character,” he added.
