US-based analytics provider Teoco on Friday announced that it is actively looking to acquire an international telecom software company in the range of $10-50 million.

Teoco Chairman and CEO Atul Jain said that the upcoming acquisition would be entirely from the company's internal accruals and if needed at a later stage the company might raise some debt.

Recently in 2012, Teoco had acquired radio access network (RAN) optimisation company Schema and prior to that it had bought Israel-headquartered TTI Telecom for $58 million in 2010.

The company which earns 60 per cent of its revenues from North American markets and only 10 per cent from Latin America and Asia Pacific is looking to expand its business foothold in the APAC region.

“We see  immense potential that India offers, both in terms of product innovation and talent,” Jain said.

Teoco, Jain said, is a $100 million company at present and it targets to reach $200-250 in the next 4-5 years with APAC share of $20-25 million from the low single digit figure at present. The company, which at present has 750 people on its rolls, plans to ramp up its APAC, especially India headcount.
