The ‘Smart Streetstyle Collection’ for hairdressers was recently showcased as part of a fashion show organised by Indola. It included some brilliant hairstyles for the season.

The looks were inspired by ramp and street styles from all over the world.
The hairstyles that were showcased had been designed by Dieter Kaiser, an international hairstylist, and his team. They presented five different trends, the inspiration for which had been taken from top fashion bloggers of the world.

Actress Ragini Dwivedi also sported a beautiful hairstyle done by Dieter Kaiser and was excited about her new look. The five looks that were presented during the show were ‘romantic youth’ , ‘pure simplicity’, ‘hack attack’, ‘galactic glamour’ and ‘3D dreams’.

Models sashayed down the ramp sporting these uber-trendy hairstyles. The focus was not only on the hairstyle, but also on the colours that had been chosen to bring forth the look. While cuts like ‘romantic youth’ and ‘pure simplicity’ were elegant, youthful and graceful, the others — like ‘3D dreams’ and ‘hack attack’ — were punk, stylish and bold.

The colours chosen for these cuts included blonde, golden, hues of brown and red. Shades of blue were chosen for the men.

Cuts like ‘3D dreams’ presented a bold style statement with structural shapes, exaggerated silhouettes and dominating bold flashes of colour. ‘Hack attack’ was more energetic and youthful with multi-textured and layered shapes in fashionable colours.

On the other hand, ‘galactic glamour’ was rather dramatic and the style had been accentuated with electric colour effects.

‘Pure simplicity’ was a gorgeous cut with hues of blonde and brown — it was understated yet glamourous.

The look for ‘romantic youth’ was feminine as well as boho with beautiful styling.
Murali Sundar, the country head of Henkel beauty care, notes that the overwhelming response from hairdressers has urged them to take the show to a bigger platform.

“We have got a tremendous response. The show has become an inspirational platform for hairstylists to learn about the hottest trends and looks,” he says.
Aarthi, a hairdresser, found the show quite motivational and says that she would apply the concepts that she has learned here.  “There is a lot to learn from Dieter. I cleared many of my doubts and learnt a lot of things from these professionals. Also, it is a good platform to network and socialise as many other stylists and salon owners come here,” she notes.
