Udaya TV has launched a new programme called Deal Or No Deal. Fundamentally, the game is all about winning money from Rs 1 to Rs 50 lakh.

This is the biggest game show in the South Indian television history. Deal Or No Deal was initially started in Europe in1991 and has already been telecast in 73 countries with over Rs 500 crore being given away as cumulative prize money.

The game is a unique mix of world class sets, a simple format and an engaging host. Popular South Indian actor Sai Kumar, who is making his maiden appearance
on Kannada television hosts the show.

An elated Sai Kumar said, “I am delighted to be a part of Deal Or No Deal. The thrill I got from shooting for the show for the first five days was the same as the combined thrill that I got from my 50 movies as a hero in Kannada films. I can promise the viewers of Karnataka that they will get to see some unbelievable stuff on this show and I empathise with the roller coaster ride of emotions that the contestants have to go through.”

It’s a show full of thrills, excitement, fun, and energy and is a complete family
entertainment package. Contestants on the game show have been chosen
from the responses to the call-for-entry activity that ran on the channel a few weeks ago. The game involves 26 suitcases, each of which contains an unknown amount between Rs 1 and Rs 50 lakh. And from there on, the contestants’ objective is to walk away from the game with the maximum possible amount of money by opening the other 25 boxes and deciding to deal or not to deal with a mysterious banker who offers to buy the contestants suitcase offering varying amounts of money at different stages throughout the game.

Deal Or No Deal airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8.30 pm on Udaya TV.
