According to MLA Belur Gopalakrishna, in all there were 51 legislators in the hotel. All of them will arrive in Bangalore by Monday evening. In two or three days, all these MLAs, led by their leader and Tourism Minister Janardhana Reddy, will meet Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, he added.
He further said: “We were told that all our demands have been fulfiled. But, we do not know what transpired in the meeting with Sushma Swaraj.”
Another ‘rebel’ legislator Renukacharya said dropping of RDPR Minister Shobha Karandlaje has been decided. “This was part of the compromise formula. Janardhana Reddy has discussed about our demands with the high command. From now on, all MLAs will be treated with respect,” he added.
When contacted, Speaker Jagadish Shettar said he will react only after learning about the full details of the talks held with Sushma Swaraj.
