The film has won quite a few laurels already. For instance, the leading protaganist, Suniel Shetty, has his first Best Actor Award at the South Asian Film Festival (SAIFF) held in New York, where it competed with some of the best international movies.

That’s not all! The film, premiered at Stuttgart, has been bestowed with a five star rating by the German critics and has also won The Director’s Vision Award.

The film is an emotional adventure of a man and touches the issue of Naxalism with realism and sensitivity. The movie is based on the real life story of Siaram Kavalsingh (played by Suniel Shetty), a reluctant convert who works with the Naxals and finds himself in the midst of Naxalite movement, forced to make difficult, and morally questionable, choices.

After the world premiere, the film will also have an Asian premiere at the prestigious India International Film Festival to be held in Goa in November. The film also has an enthralling ensemble of actors — Suniel Shetty, Sameera Reddy, Seema Biswas, Naseeruddin Shah, Vinod Khanna, Ayesha Dharker, Ashish Vidyarthi, Gulshan Grover and Bhagyashree.
