<p> According to a press release, former Dean of Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore) Dr K R Shetty was the chief guest for the occasion. <br /><br />COO and MS of KMC Hospital (Mangalore) Dr Sunil Deshpande, Dean Maj Gen (Retd) Dr G Rajgopal, Associate Dean Dr Urmila Khadilkar, Director of KMC Laboratory Services and Incharge of Microbiology Laboratory Dr Shrikala Baliga, were present on the occasion.<br /><br />KMC Laboratory Services is the first laboratory in coastal Karnataka and Northern Kerala to be accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, the release added.<br /></p>
