MTech student kills himself

Mouna, 23, an MTech final semester student, was found hanging at her house in Mathikere. A student of M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, she was awaiting her results.

Police said family members found her found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. No suicide note was found.

Family members, however, told police that Mouna was suffering from stomach aches for the past couple of months and suspected that it could have led her to commit suicide.
Yeshwantpur police have registered a case.

In another case, an auto driver was found hanging at his house in Padarayanapura. Sadiq Pasha, 26, was living with his mother and wife.

On Sunday, when both his mother and wife had gone out, Pasha allegedly took the extreme step. The incident was discovered when his mother returned home at night.

Police suspect that Pasha might have ended his life due to depression over a domestic dispute. JJ Nagar police have registered a case.
