The Congress high command on Tuesday reconstituted manifesto implementation committee for the party-ruled government in Karnataka by dropping senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary and Rural Development Minister H K Patil as its members.
As per the reconstituted panel approved by party national president Sonia Gandhi, Defence Minister A K Antony will continue as its chairman.
Party’s Karnataka in charge General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Minister of State for Department of Personnel and Training V Narayansamy, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Pradesh Congress Committee president G Parameshwara will be its members.
As per the party, the main task of the panel is to ensure all poll promises implemented.
