Having given them a week’s time, the Palike from Saturday embarked upon issuing notices to 1,193 stalls in the City. <br /><br />According to the BBMP Health Department, there are 2,152 stalls in the City. The authorities in their estimate have found another 129 stalls which do not have a trade licence. “We will be placing a fine on the stalls that have shown no compliance to our parameters on a discretionary basis,” informed a Palike official. <br /></p>
