KPCC chief G Parameshwara will be chairing executive committee meetings of all the district Congress committees in a bid to strengthen the party for the crucial 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
He is scheduled to chair the executive committee meeting of the Belgaum unit on September 18 and the Bangalore unit on September 23. Parameshwara is planning to cover all districts by the end of October. It is being done as per the directions of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, party sources said.
The State party chief is planning to take stock of the situation in the respective district units, listen to their problems, if any, and give necessary directions to prepare for the general elections.
