Umashankar nets four as SJCC post big win

Umashankar, who blasted in six goals in SJCC’s 14-0 win over United Mission on Friday, produced another superb performance against Ambedkars at the Bangalore Football stadium.

Umashankar netted the first in the 18th minute and added another in the 28th minute before completing his hat-trick two minutes later to give his team a healthy 3-0 lead at the half-time. Umashankar rounded off the tally at the hour-mark.

In another match of the day, Cathedral College played out a 1-1 draw with Indian Institute of Science. Madhu put Cathedral in the lead in the 13th minute and Rameez levelled the scores for IISc in the 24th.
