KJP leader B S Yeddyurappa claimed on Sunday that even 15 years will not be enough for the Congress government headed by Siddaramaiah to accomplish what he did in the span of three and a half years as the chief minister as far as development is concerned.

Speaking at a function organised to felicitate meritorious students organised by Karnataka State Veerashaiva Vidyabhvruddhi Samsthe, he said people have seen the difference between the administration of his government and Siddaramaiah’s in the last six months. The development has suffered after the new government came to power, he charged.

He said pro-people schemes like farm loan at zero per cent interest to farmers, Bhagyalakshmi scheme and bicycle to the poor students were implemented by his government. “I have strived for the development and well-being of all sections. I am satisfied with the work I did during my tenure,” he stated.

He further said he will dedicate his life for the welfare of the society and that he was not nurturing an ambition to again become the chief minister. Though he was doing good work, people within the party created problems and made him step down, he added.
