Re-exam for PSI posts

 The exams were conducted for 320 posts of PSI (civil), 40 posts of Women PSI and 40 posts of PSI (for those already serving the police force). Around 6,000 candidates wrote the exam in Bangalore's 13 centres.

The state police had decided to conduct the exams afresh after a police constable leaked the questions for the exam held on October 11. Tight security arrangements were made at the exam centres and the media was not allowed inside the exam  halls. Meanwhile in Gulbarga, candidates protested against an alleged paper leak after a supervisor at PDA College distributed the question papers for the afternoon session in the morning. They demanded that exams be conducted afresh.
