HMSI now on Facebook

Netting a new milestone in customer relationship and engagement, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) – the Only 2 Wheeler Company of Honda in India today announced the launch of its Facebook community to engage with growing number of customers, fans and followers.

Also, the community will help in spreading awareness among target audience and creating top of the mind recall for Honda products and activities.

Today, Honda is the fastest growing 2wheeler company in India, where industry has grown only 3.5 per cent (April-Sept’13), Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have been able to buck the trend and have grown by 23 per cent (April-Sept’13). Currently, Honda has more than 13 million 2wheelers customers in India, across all age groups and with the social media forum; the followers will have the opportunity to engage with company and other community members online.

The contents for the community are designed around Honda’s pillars of Fun, Safety, Environment and their Corporate Philosophy- “Sach Kardenge Sapne”.

The new digital media initiative will especially target youth who consumes maximum media online today. The social media platform on Facebook is created to build and represent the ever growing fan base of Honda 2 wheelers earned over the years with high quality products and excellent services. According to VP - Sales & Marketing, Y S Guleria, “With internet usage growing across all categories and social media platform becoming preferred medium to engage with the community, we are really excited to begin this new journey through digital media. As a brand also it is going to be a new chapter for us as it will open new avenues where we would be in direct conversation with customers and also would be part of conversations among community members. It will surely lead to new insights and help us to deliver on our target audience expectations better”.
