The national executive meeting of the JD-S on Friday passed a resolution to join hands with like-minded, secular and socialist regional parties across the nation to fight the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.
JD-S president H D Deve Gowda said the party will be extending to entire country, its alliance with Left parties which is now limited to Kerala.
Speaking to the media after the resolution was passed, Gowda said that their ‘small’ party will be fighting the Lok Sabha elections alone in all the 28 constituencies in Karnataka. “We will fight the elections in Kerala in alliance with the Left Democratic Front (LDF),” he said.
