<p>Five persons, including a child and two women, were killed and six others sustained grievous injuries after a multiutility vehicle (MUV), in which they were travelling, collided head-on with an NWKRTC bus near Arer bridge on Hubli-Gadag road, on Thursday morning.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased have been identified as Zarina Gadagwale (45), Sharpoon Addewale (40), Aslam Karjagi (23), Toufiq Maniyar (10) and the car driver Mohammad Ali Ontahalli. <br /><br />Wedding reception<br /><br />The victims were returning to their native Koppal from Goa after attending the wedding reception of the daughter of Zarina Gadagwale.<br /><br />Superintendent of Police B S Lokesh Kumar, along with other senior police officials, rushed to the accident spot and oversaw the relief operations. A case has been registered.<br /></p>
