Two held for eve teasing in Metro

The Ulsoor police have arrested two persons in connection with the alleged eve teasing inside Namma Metro coach recently. Ajay Ghosh, 26, and Akhilesh, 26, both residents of Bommasandra, are the arrested.

According to the police, both of them hold Diploma in Engineering and work for a  private firm, added the police.

Complaint

A woman has complained that a four-member gang had passed comments against her and indulged in eve teasing when she travelled by Metro on October 12.

 The alleged incident took place between MG Road Metro Station and Indiranagar around 7 pm. The police have registered a case based on the complaint.

“Ghosh and Akhilesh claimed to be innocent. Two more suspects are at large,” said a police officer.
