'Assuming the office of registrar was smooth'

Reacting to the report `BU controversy echoes in D’gere, Gulbarga varsities,’ which appeared in Deccan Herald on November 18, Registrar Hiremath said that the report has created confusion in the university and academic circles.

" I deny the alleged report that there was delay in assuming the charge and hence it was forcibly taken.”  Hiremath maintained that Vice-Chancellor B G Mulimani was away in Delhi on November16 and on being informed about his appointment over phone he advised him to report to duty and assume charge from P K Tiwari.
