Two cars gutted

Two cars which had been parked by the side of the road were gutted in a fire on 36th Cross, Jayanagar 9th Block on Sunday morning.

The two cars were parked in front of an empty plot of land which had been turned into a dumping ground for garbage over a period of time.

According to police, the incident occurred when somebody set fire to the garbage.
By the time a fire tender rushed to the spot and put out the flames, both cars were completely gutted.

A case has been registered at the Mico Layout police station.
