<p>Convicted actor Sanjay Dutt on Friday was granted a month-long furlough by Pune’s Yerawada jail authorities on grounds that his wife Maanyata has been keeping unwell and he needs to be near her.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Dutt has to complete the remaining 42-month term of his five year jail sentence awarded to him for procuring prohibited firearms.<br /><br />Earlier, in October this year, the actor was granted a furlough for two weeks that was later extended for another two weeks. <br /><br />Local media had reported that the actor’s wife had applied last week for a furlough as she has been not been keeping well and though the police had earlier declined the request, it was given a green signal by Pune's Divisional Commissioner on Friday.<br /><br />Last time, the actor was granted furlough on medical ground because he had cited medical reports of prison doctors stating that there were blood clots in his legs.</p>
