Hitesh, victim's cousin who was staying at her house, is also being interrogated. The suspect from Shivajinagar had close contacts with the victim, sources told Deccan Herald.
Sources said, the case has been cracked but the police are playing it safe by not disclosing anything as of now. The breakthrough would, in all likelihood, be announced by Monday evening, they added.

Seema, a small-time financier, was stabbed to death when she was alone in her Rajajinagar 4th 'N' Block residence between 10 and 10:30 am.

Her husband Arvind Jain had gone to his shop, whereas her children were away in school. Hitesh, a post-graduate nursing student, was also not in the house. The incident came to light when Arvind returned at 1 pm and checked in the bedroom where she was lying in a pool of blood.

It is believed that Seema had wide contacts and a number of people used to call on he cell phone.

Meanwhile, the body was cremated on Sunday evening after it was handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem was over. The report will be available on Monday. Police have confirmed that her death occurred due to multiple stab injuries.
