Hundreds of the party workers led by former CM H D Kumaraswamy took out a protest rally from JD(S) main office on Race Course road till Anand Rao Circle.
The Government has imposed one hour load shedding in Bangalore and three hours in other cities due to scarcity of power. People in rural areas are getting less than 12 hours power supply.
Speaking to reporters, Kumaraswamy said farmers are facing severe hardship due to load shedding. The Government has not been able to provide six hours three phase power, let alone the free power.
He said he will submit a memorandum to the Governor.
