JOIN USA team of BJP Central leaders, headed by party president Rajnath Singh, held a confidential meeting with KJP leader B S Yeddyurappa at the residence of an RSS leader in Sorab town on Monday.
According to reliable sources, they had come to Sorab to take part in a programme organised in memory of Meenakshamma, mother of RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale, who died recently. Both Rajnath Singh and B S Yeddyurappa were said to have spoken to each other for more than 30 minutes at the residence of another RSS leader Padmanabh.
It is said BJP State affairs in charge Dharmendra Pradhan, State BJP President Pralhad Joshi, Rajya Sabha member Ayanur Manjunath, BJP National General Secretary Ananth Kumar, Shimoga MP B Y Raghavendra and other leaders were present during the meet. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Yeddyurappa said: “I do understand your (media persons) excitement. But, we did not discuss any political issue here. Wait for another four to five days. You will get the good news.” However, Rajnath Singh refused to comment.
