E Nanjegowda

Obituary

He is survived by wife, two sons and two daughters. Nanjegowda entered politics in 1978 and lost the polls held in 1978 and 1985. He got elected to the State Assembly as Janata Party Candidate in 1985 by defeating Jayalakshmi Rajannagowda of the Congress.
However, he lost to B Shivaram of Congress in 1989 Assembly polls. Since then he did not get opportunity to contest the elections.
