BJP meet to focus on corruption

Last Updated 10 January 2014, 21:06 IST

The BJP continues to hold the Congress its prime enemy as it has decided to bring resolution in its two-day national executive meeting on corruption, lack of governance and poor fiscal health.

The leading opposition party is ignoring the Aam Admi Party’s growing influence outside Delhi after it formed the government in the national capital since its leaders believe that it would be more beneficial for the party to have direct contest with the Congress.

The RSS has, at its Thursday meeting in Hyderabad, has advised the BJP top brass not to turn a blind eye on the AAP and also cautioned leaders to stay rooted as new party is believed to make a dent on urban Lok Sabha seats in coming polls. At their national executive and council meeting beginning on January 17,  the BJP top brass is likely to discuss the changing political scenario owing to debutante party making impact. The BJP parliamentary board, led by party president Rajnath Singh met on Friday, to discuss the two resolutions which will have to brought during the conclave.
