The students of Seshadripuram Independent PU College celebrated their college day on campus recently. The campus was buzzing with energy and excitement as students presented a host of performances to celebrate the occasion.

The colourful programme consisted of dance performances, songs, skits, mime, western dance etc. Students rehearsed and practised for weeks to make sure that the programme was successful.

“We conceptualised the entire programme and put in a lot of effort to make it successful and memorable. We tried to showcase different forms of dance to portray the cultural heritage of the country. Though a lot of hard work went into the programme, we had a lot of fun and it was a learning experience,” said Sindhu, a student.

The teams presented different programmes to add variety to the show.

What stood out was the enthusiasm of the students, who were ready to take on any challenge that came their way and the responsibility of conducting the programme.

Swetha, a student, informed that they had been practising for a long time for the show.
“I am glad that everyone liked our show. A lot of time and effort went into it and it felt great to be appreciated. We were worried about the show. But everything went smoothly and our teachers helped us to a great extent.

They guided us and showed us what we could do to improve. We had divided ourselves into different teams and each team had a leader who saw to it that everything was on time and as per schedule. All the students cooperated with us and made the show very special,” she said.

The grand show had the students running around to ensure that the guests were seated. The programme started on time and volunteers helped everyone find a place to sit.

The students said their aim was to make the day special and help their batchmates discover their hidden talent.

They said that in the process, they learnt a lot of skills like team building, stress management, team work, leadership, time management etc.

The show was appreciated by one and all. “Everyone appreciated our efforts and congratulated us for the good show. Our hard work paid off and we got an opportunity to learn, make friends and interact with people,” notes
Sindhu.
