Bangalore gets Amazon's 2nd fulfilment facility

Amazon Seller Services India on Monday announced plans to open its second Fulfilment Center in India.Its first in South India, the new fulfilment center is located near Bangalore and is spread over 150,000 square feet. 

“It will be operational by February with both inbound and outbound services. The new, modern, multilevel, secure facility equipped with Amazon’s world-class and state-of-the-art warehousing systems and processes will be able to stock and store millions of products of all sizes across several categories from sellers using Fulfilment by Amazon,” the company said.

“This investment is part of Amazon’s continued and relentless focus on enhancing online shopping experience for consumers in India and enabling Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to get a scalable and robust national platform using Fulfilment by Amazon.
