Increasing vehicular density: Cause for pollution

He was speaking after inaugurating various competitions that were jointly organised by SLV Driving School and the Regional Transport Office as a part of Air Pollution Control Month at the Government PU College in Dibbur. Khan felt that conservation of forests, lakes and ponds were imperative for controlling air pollution.

He urged teachers to make students aware about air pollution, and to ensure that they adopt ways that would be environment-friendly.

College Principal S Byrappa advised students to plant at least 10 saplings each and take care of them.

Principal of SLV Driving School, K P Navmohan urged students to work towards the invention of environment-friendly vehicles, which would not be dependent on petroleum. RTO inspectors Pavithra, Vishwajit, Head Master Ranganath, journalist Krishnappa, teachers Jahariparnaz, Satish, Geetha were present.
