Pune FC were humbled by Vietnam side Hanoi T& T FC in their AFC Champions League playoff match here at the Shiv Chhatrapati stadium in Balewadi, Pune, on Wednesday.
After Sam Gallgher opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, further goals from Nguyen Van Quyet in the 71st minute and Houghton Hector in the 83rd minute sealed the match for Hanoi. Hanoi enter the second round of qualifying, where they will face Thailand’s Muangthong United. For Pune, it’s back to the drawing board.
