The High Court on Wednesday directed the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) to submit details of the list of recommendations, along with the survey numbers, and related petitions for final hearing, in regard to acquisition of land for the development of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout.
Justice Anand Byrareddy directed the BDA counsel, who had filed an affidavit which had only survey numbers, to produce all the documents pertaining to the acquisition of land and posted the final hearing to February 11.
Acquisition challenged
Farmers had challenged the acquisition of land for Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout. Of the total 4,083 acres of land, 88 acres of land was given to a nursery and 12 acres to a brick kiln.
The counsel for BDA submitted that resolutions were passed and land given for nursery and brick kiln have been deleted from acquisition.
The court directed the BDA to submit all details in the next hearing and adjourned the matter.
