Likith, Stalin sparkle as FUCC have it easy

Likith Bannur sparkled with a five-wicket haul and Stalin Hoover hammered a half-century as Friends Union Cricket Club posted an eight wicket win over Mangalore Occasionals in the YS Ramaswamy Memorial Cricket tournament here.

Likith’s claimed five for 23 and Naveen 3 for 11 as FUCC bowled out Occasionals for just 114 in 38 overs. FUCC then raced to vicory in just 12.1 overs with Hoover smashing 60 and Suneel Raju contributing an unbeaten 38.

Herons Cricket Club: 187 all out in 47.3 overs (Suraj Sampath 32, Rohan Kadam 33, Gaurav Dhiman 46, Darshan M R 2/40, K Goutham 4/48, K Sashindra 3/10) lost to Jawahar Sports Club 191/ 3 in 38 overs (KC Avinash 32, Nischal D 93, Mir Kaunian Abbas 38).

Jaidur Cricketers: 263/6 in 35 overs (Nischith 98, Prateeksh 57, Raghunandan 2/46) bt Jayanagar United Cricketers: 230/9 in 35 overs (Ajendra 66, Bharath YM 44, Jayachandra 3/35, Mahendra Gowda 3/53).

Caravan Cricketers 118 all out in 45.3 overs (Shubhang Hegde 32 n.o, Brihadesh 32, Abhishek Sharma 3/33, Sandesh 4/18) lost to Modern Cricket Club 120/2 in 26.4 overs (S Khan 58 n.o).
