<p>Upset over delay in inquiry in her rape case, the 23-year-old victim today demanded a CBI probe into the case and the immediate arrest of IAS officer B B Mohanty, who has been absconding since the FIR was lodged.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Rajasthan government had not taken any action against the slow investigation by state police which could not arrest the accused, and did not search the accused's home, the victim told a press conference at Pink Press Club.<br /><br />"I demand that the CBI should probe the case. I will also meet the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in a day or so to request her to take up stern action in the case and ensure justice to me," she said.<br /><br />The victim said she had already met the state women's commission Chairperson Ladkumari Jain and submitted all the relevant details.<br /><br />Meanwhile, when contacted, DCP (South) Sanjay Shrotriya told PTI that a search would likely be conducted at Mohanty's residence in Mahesh Nagar tomorrow as the police had procured the search warrant last week.<br /><br />The victim's statement has already been recorded, he said.<br /><br />In her complaint on January 25, the woman alleged that the IAS officer, B B Mohanty, Chairman of Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal, had raped her repeatedly last year fter promising to help her clear civil services examination.</p>
