'High command to decide Ramya's fate'

Rajya Sabha Member and ex-chief minister S M Krishna, on Sunday, clarified that issuing of Congress party ticket to Ramya for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls is left solely at the discretion of the High Command.

Addressing mediapersons, here, after inaugurating a community Hall, at Shivapura, near here, he said the High Command’s decision is final in selecting party candidates for the LS polls. “It is not right for me to comment on the issue,” he added.  Speaking on internal bickerings in the party, he justified that such differences of opinion is not new and exists in the district Congress unit since the past 55 years. The problems can be sorted out if the party members hold talks, he opined. He stated that none of his family members would contest in the coming LS polls. Congress party does not belong a single family, he stressed.
Ridiculing the issue of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal releasing a list of corrupt politicians, he said, even he can release a similar list.

Former MLC S M Shankar, former MLA Kalpana Siddaraju, KPCC member Gurucharan, and others were present.
