ACES to be launched today

ACES aims at automating all major processes in Central Excise and Service Tax. With ACES, the user will be able to register online, electronically file statutory returns, claims, intimations and permissions, apply for refunds, requests for provisional assessment. They can also view and track the status of their documents online.

 The application is available in www.aces.gov.in. For details refer to Trade notice No 06/2009 dated November 25.

In case of any difficulty, assessees can seek the help of the service desk by sending an e-mail to [e-mail] or call toll free number 1800 4254251 on all working days from 9 am to 7 pm, the release added.
