<p>A teacher was arrested for allegedly beating a student in classroom on Tuesday. The arrested was identified as Satish of BBMP School in Malleswaram.<br /><br /></p>.<p>According to Vyalikaval Police, Satish confined a class VIII student to a room and beat him with a stick as the boy had quarrelled with a senior student. He informed the matter to parents on returning home. The parents rushed back to the school, had a heated argument with the school authorities and lodged a complaint against Satish, police said.<br /><br />Satish told the police that the boy would unnecessarily quarrel with senior boys and misbeheaved with girls. He had not mended his ways despite several warnings, Satish told the police.<br /></p>
