Zee agrees to pay pending amount

 
In a meeting here, AIFF top brass asked Zee Sports representatives to pay the amount due according to the 10-year contract and the latter have accepted it.

AIFF has a 10-year contract with Zee Sports till 2014, which reportedly crosses Rs 250 crore. AIFF vice-president AR Khaleel said Zee Sports have agreed to pay the amount due, which would be strictly according to the letter of the contract.

“We had a meeting with Zee officials and they have agreed to pay the amount due to us. They are our partners and we have our necessity for funds also,” he said.

Asked about the exact amount due by Zee Sports, Khaleel said, “They will pay according to what has been decided by the contract we had with them.”
