<p>Three persons were killed in two separate road accidents in the City on Thursday morning.<br /><br /></p>.<p>In the first incident, Gangaiah, 30, a construction worker, was mowed down by a sports utility vehicle (SUV) at around 12.30 am when he was waiting for a bus near Tin Factory to go to his native in Andhra Pradesh. <br /><br />He was taken to Bowring Hospital where he succumbed to injuries, said the police. <br />The driver of the SUV fled the spot after abandoning the vehicle.<br /><br />Gangaiah was staying with his wife and child at Bhadrappa Layout. The police are on the lookout for the driver.<br /><br />In another incident, two youths died on the spot in a road accident near Sanjaynagar Cross.<br />The victims were identified as Lohith Kumar, 21, a resident of Pemme Gowda Road in JC Nagar and Mohan N, 23, a resident of Chamundeshwarinagar in RT Nagar. <br /><br />The incident occurred at around 1.50 am, when the two were heading towards Hebbal on a bike. Lohith was riding the bike without a helmet. It is not known if they were killed after an unknown vehicle collided with them or Lohith lost control over the bike and rammed into the pavement, said the police.<br /><br />A few eye-witnesses alerted the police, who rushed to the spot.They were killed on the spot due to massive multiple injuries. The post-mortem was conducted at MS Ramaiah Hospital, said the police.<br /><br />Lohith’s father is a construction worker, while Mohan’s father is a BSNL employee.
