Union Minister Salman Khurshid is not the only one who has called the BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi names. There have been many others, including the Uttar Pradesh ministers, who too have used denigrating words for the saffron leader.
Many senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders have used a variety of derogatory terms for Modi.
SP general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav had likened Narendra Modi to the “dacoits” (robbers) of Chambal ravines. “A large number of people also go to see the dacoits of Chambal,” Ram Gopal had remarked when asked about the crowds at Modi rallies in the state.
Another SP general secretary Naresh Agarwal too had called Modi a “madari” (a person who shows tamasha on the streets often with a monkey).
