BFC look to stretch lead at the top

Last Updated 28 February 2014, 22:23 IST

League leaders Bengaluru FC will look to continue their reign at the top when they take on basement side Rangdajied United in their I-League match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.

The I-League debutants would want to stretch their lead at the top after second-placed Sporting Clube de Goa went down 1-3 to Mohammedan Sporting in Kolkata on Friday.
Skipper Sunil Chhetri, who will be playing in Shillong for the first time, will return to the team after sitting out in the drawn match against Mumbai FC.

Rangdajied will miss their Japanese left-back Yohei Iwasaki, who is out with a suspension. The chilly weather in Shillong and showers on match eve is expected to make playing conditions difficult.
