<p>Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal in a letter on Monday demanded that the Election Commission (EC) provide guidelines on conducting and broadcasting opinion polls.<br /><br /></p>.<p>“The AAP demands that the EC should issue clear guidelines to organisations conducting these polls and print/electronic media which intends to publish/telecast such polls for fixing,” says the letter.<br /><br />Kejriwal said the AAP does not favour a blanket ban on opinion polls, but would like to request the EC to take steps to ensure that a code of conduct is followed for telecast/publication. </p>
