JOIN US‘Dial Bharatgas Mini,’ an initiative of the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) to supply five-kg cylinders to consumers in metros, was launched at Kambalipura in Hoskote taluk of Bangalore Rural district on Wednesday.
The service was simultaneously launched in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. In Mumbai and Pune, the service will start in the first week of March and will be extended to other cities in a phased manner.
Those who want to avail themselves of the service can dial the toll free number 1800224344, and the cylinder will be delivered within two hours of the order being placed. The number can also be used for ordering a new ‘Bharatgas Mini’ connection or a refill. The booking service will be 24X7 with deliveries from 9 am to 9 pm.
On the occasion, the foundation stone was laid for the Fire Safety Engineering and Process Safety Research Centre of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology on a 150-acre land in the village. The third such campus of the RGPIT in the country will be set up in collaboration with the Texas A and M University, USA.
